“Stories and Songs of the Elfin Forest” for children 5-11
Join Topanga Canyon Docent, Gale Feldman, for an all sensory experience. Delight in the delicious scents of our scratch-n-sniff plants, hear the song of the acorn woodpecker, and taste some of treats of the chaparral goodies like elderberry gummies and acorn cookies. Learn of the ecology of the chaparral and how the Chumash and Tongva shared their material culture. We may even hear the shrill call of the Great Hawk, indicating that there is treasure nearby. FREE FAMILY EVENT!
